Fall Wedding on Family Tree Farm
Atascadero, California | Olivia + Ryan

Olivia and Ryan had a very special wedding at their families Christmas tree farm over the fall. They have had the farm in their family for years and were wanting to celebrate with everyone they love at a place that is special to them. Olivia reached out to me to capture her wedding and we set up the engagement session which she said she wanted to feel like a 90s romance film.
On the wedding day everyone was so excited to be apart of their day. Olivia grew all the flowers for the bouquets herself in her garden and did all the decor herself with the help of her family. The tree farm felt like a little hideaway from the city and felt almost like another place. It reminded me of the forests in Oregon. They had the private ceremony nestled into the trees where everyone sat on hay-bails and assorted chairs for that eclectic experience. They shared personal vows and even had an Irish knot tradition added to the ceremony.
Once the reception began it was all laughter and joy as cocktails were served and the food was ready. The toasts shared were all so beautiful and tears were shed as the father of the bride shared his speech. Once it began to get dark the first dances were shared and the bride had a dress change and the bridal party revealed light up sneakers to get the dance floor ready! The disco ball was glowing and the dancing went on till the end of the night!
